About Us:

We are still working on getting to non-profit status, though this is an uphill battle.

Our Goals:
1) Raise funds for those in our local communities who have been involved in unfortunate circumstances such as house fire, etc.
2) Raise funds to make and supply Milwaukee Children's Hospital with mobile entertainment centers.
3) Help our team racers achieve their goals through training and support.

Why?
All our lives we have been taught that being a distraction is a negative thing.  We disagree in part.  Being a positive distraction to someone who has had their life or lives turned upside down can be a very good thing.  Just ask anyone who has had their house burn down and the Red Cross or other charity has come to their aid.   Just ask parents who have children in your local children's hospital.  Better yet, walk around and just observe.  If your life isn't changed from that experience, nothing will ever be able to change it.  People in these situations need a positive distraction.  Something to take their mind off all the worry, even just for a few minutes or hours.

How?
We will be working with the local communities businesses to provide highly discounted or free products and/or services to the people that we are distracting.  We will work with businesses to help provide an escape for these people.  It could be as little as a series of movies at the local movie theatres, or a series of dinners at a participating restaurants.

We will sell products/services through our website to raise funds for both the DistractionMX race team, as well as our friends in need of a distraction.  Of the profits generated from sales/donations, 85% of the profits raised will go to help those in need of a distraction.  15% will go to the race team to financially ease the burden of our team members and will be distributed based on fund raising achievements and participation in our off-track distraction efforts.

It's this simple. 

1) Order what you were already going to order through our website: Www.Shop.DistractionMX.coM.  You were going to get a new helmet?  Get an XPEED, a new neck brace?  EVS, Suspension?  FCR Suspension, Goggles?  SMX Optics! Clothing? Absolute Zero Clothing Company... (and we could go on and on!).

2) Also, if you're able, visit the participating local businesses that are helping us help others!

3) Support us and our riders!  If you see us at the races, come up and say hi!  Our racers are doing the right thing... let 'em know...
